Default Honda F24C

This is an artical that shows us how to use parts from the K24/H22/F20C1 to build a NA F24C1. Here it is.

http://www.turbomagazine.com/tech/06...stroker_build/

High horsepower Hondas are nothing new this day and age as vast improvements in vehicle engineering have empowered the H-badge enthusiasts to build everything from the mildly modified to the more wildly modified 700 hp street driven machines. A new age of computer-literate teenagers and young adults use the internet to find ways to squeeze every fraction of power from their cars. Unfortunately, with every wheel-spinning and tire-roasting component added onto the vehicle comes the necessity of obtaining large amounts of cash. Most owners end up spending their hard-earned dough on what we call

If there is any more infor on this that I missed please feel free to post it up with a creditable source so we know it is a fact. I for one and very interested in doing this considering you do not have to bore out anything just machine the cracks lip off. Will this engine rev to 9K? I think it would because nothing the rod length is still the same and so is the bore. Any commets are welcomed. Enjoy John

I would love to try it but I am seriously short on Cash and there is no tuner or shop in my area that I would trust enought to wash my car let alone rip the engine apart. I would let someone do it if they sponsored the work. I would buy the parts no problem.

I would think it is a big more complex then the artical but then again it might just be as easy as rebuilding a motor. From what I seen in the artical there is not need to bore out the engine so that would mean it could handle as must boost as a stock F20C. I believe with the Inlinepro kit you have to bored your engine out making the walls weaker so you can not really boost it. I may be wrong but still it would be a nice idea to have a 2.4L Turbocharged S2000.

The artical says that the piston speed on the F24 would be faster than the piston speed on the F20C1. If pistons speed had anything to do with how the motor will rev I would say you could rev it out to 9K. I know it has a lot to do with engine harmonics etc but I guess all of that would have to be tested.
