It's not a dog, it's a racoon.
Look at the forelegs - clearly it's been skinned and dumped (note the clean cut and the pulled pelt). Also note the fingers on the forelegs - those aren't remotely close to dog paws. No telling how long the animal was in the water. The body is bloated and the hair has sluffed off. And the "beak" is nothing more than a badly deformed skull due to exposure to the elements. --------------------  ~Steven

It just looks like a beak but it's just a beat up section of the skull. You don't have a beak and big teeth together - they don't make sense at all. |

I don't think that's a raccoon. It's clearly either a photoshop or an unknown animal. The features are just too clear for it to be natural wear on the remains.

The fingers and body size all match with a raccoon, as does the skull's main feature. The teeth are like raccoon teeth and the only "odd" part is the front of the skull. The skull (as it is in the picture) doesn't match ANYTHING in the world right now, so that means it's probably just heavily damaged. A few other sites are discussing it and they posted pictures of real skulls and such and it does match a raccoon, overall. |
