Cluster Lights Problem
yersterday i was driving my ap2 and noticed the cluster rev lights are a lil bit toned down i was like WTF i took a Pic and here it is check it out guys is this normal?

likely a burned out bulb, not too hard to replace if that area uses replaceable bulbs, it's listed in the service manual where the bulbs are, but my manual is an ap1, might be similar though.

I had a look at mine, there are a few light bulbs described as guage lights, I don't know if they would provide the back lighting for the tach gauge.
Then there are a dozen idiot lights along the bottom which wouldn't be of any help. The rest of the lighting doesn't look to be replaceable, so your only hope might be the few guage lights. If a part of the non-replaceable lighting has failed it could mean replacement as the only fix, in that case it might be best to consider the light upgrade from Qube which is pretty sweet.

contact the guys in this thread at Qube Engineering, they could probably answer your question about the dim section as they do this stuff all day long.

Here you go, Eri...
1) Pull your gauge cluster per the instructions for my AP1 Cluster Install... it's the same procedure as for the AP2, except there are only two harnesses in the back of the AP2 cluster instead of 4.
AP1 Gauge Cluster Installation Instructions
2) Remove the 3 screws on the backside of the gauge cluster.
3) Remove the back cover of the gauge cluster.
4) Unplug the 5 harnesses from the gauge cluster computer. There are 3 different types of harnesses, so pay attention to how each one connects.
5) Pull off the gauge cluster computer.
6) The bulb you have blown is the red one on the right side (looking from the back of the gauge cluster).
7) Twist out the bulb and replace.
8) If you want to replace all the bulbs at the same time, it's 5 red and two light gray. Don't worry about replacing the dark grey. Those are for the turn signals and don't get used as much as the other ones.
