no problem, i'd hate to see people get ripped off since the authentic versions are so expensive.

im 80% sure they are real.. everything VISIBLE in the pics are right on.. except for those 3 screws right below/infront of the recliner knob.

this is the easiest way to spot a authentic to a replica... the grey metal brace that runs vertical up the back portion of the seat should have the BRIDE logo engraved in it. wish i had some close ups of my sides.. (these seats have that.)

another thing that replicas dont have and is a sure tell is the plastic circles for the seat belt holes... the authentics have the BRIDE logo printed on them... the replicas are unmarked. (these seats have that.)

hope this helps. i dont think ive seen replicas with tags either..

I really think that these are real but perhaps had a part or 2 swapped onto it for whatever reason. look at it this way tho.. most of the good replica seats are actually made at the same factory as the bride seats by the same people. they are just not sold to BRIDE.. they are sold to 3rd parties.. knock off or not itll be the same quality.

btw.. ive owned BRIDE stradias and currently have a bride sponsorship.. tho im running recaros in the car currently
lol you are only 80% sure? open your eyes!! haha

if it's not 100% like the real thing, it's fake.

another possible indication of the "fakeness" is the lack of "TEE'S" emblem on the bottom product label??

Here's a pic from my guaranteed authentic Brix II seat

I have a foolproof method to make sure that I don't buy fake Bride seats.

I'm going to get Sparcos.

Sorry for such a late update but the seats ended up being fake

The seller sent all those pics but did not include a picture of the reclining knob which I thought was a little fishy. My friend snatched it for $575 for both which made me think that it was waaay too good of a deal. I asked him to check out the basics of the seat and found that the reclining knob had the 3 bolts instead of being flush.

Luckily for us, the seller seemed cool about it and let him return it for the full amount after we told him they were fake and he implied they were authentic in his ad. Right after he posted up a new ad, selling the seats as fake and for $400.

Some reason I think he knew they were fake because he accepted the fact so readily.

Thanks for all the help guys! Hopefully this will help others when they are buying some seats
