Default AP1 vibration under acceleration

Hi guys, I have a vibration only under hard acceleration when cornering to the right. It seems to come from the front, it disapear when off the gas or accelerating on straight line. It vibrates a bit when cornering left, but not so much, and only under acceleration.
Thanks.

Inner CV Joints. Research that. Answer is to swap buckets or buy new ones. Probably best to just swap as it's free. Just be sure to re-torque the axle nuts following the instructions posted by Billman250.

Cheers.

X2

Also driveshaft spacer may help depending on severity.

What others have said.....but first check your tire pressures. Stock '01 AP1 34 psi rear and 32 Front is what I ran for years before changing to +1 17" aftermarket wheels.

It was the buckets, I swap them and the vibration under acceleration has gone....but quess what, now I got some vibration (depending on engine rev) on deceleration, so probably I have to buy new ones. Thanks for answers.

I have had the same experience when swapping buckets on a car that had the issue really badly but it was nowhere near as severe as the acceration vibration. I remember reading that when you swap the buckets the issue is essentially reversed to deceleration. You could look into additional improvement with axle spacers or a used set of OEM axles for quite cheap or there are solid aftermarket options like Ballade.

axle spacers would be a cheaper fix.

funny that you sensed the vibration coming from the front though.

I think that was someone else. I think swapping the CV cups generally works on cars that have minimal vibrations but I think my car is beyond that.

I had the same. Replaced with new and vibration gone completely. Swapping is a cheap band-aid - fix it properly.
