Take it out
I am actually thinking of pulling it again and putting foam tape along the fastening edge and putting it back. Mine only rattles in one spot behind me and it just isn't pulled tight by the fasteners in that area. Only really does it on a decel that I have noticed.

what about that nasty rattling sound you hear when you're in third gear and deccelerate?

If that is what you've got, the fix is to replace the clutch. The good news is that not replacing the clutch doesn't hurt anything.

i had my wife poke around in the back of the car while we drove home from eating tonight and she determined that an annoying squeak that i have coming from the rear actually comes from where the rear glass window connects to the top in the lower driver's side corner. anyone know anything about this?

Awhile ago, I started notice clicking in my driver side rear brake. Figuring it was probably due to bad pads since I saw some chipping on the corners of the visible pads on the corner, I decided to replace them and had the rotors turned as well.
After the replacement, things were fine for a few months until our last heavy rain about a week ago. The clicking returned. I hosed down the area pretty well with water and the noise disappeared but I suspect the notice will return. I also checked whether the caliper was nice and tight on the assembly and it was okay as well. The pads are nice and greased as well touching the caliper.
My only other idea that I'm thinking of is that I need to bleed the line... although there are no visual leaks that I can detect for air to get in.
Has anyone else experienced this?
