Hey,
If your car is RHD then there is a good chance it does not have ODBII.
In Australia, not a single s2000 (that i am aware of) came with it and it uses the Honda diagnosis connector instead. US regulations require all vehicle post 1996 to have it where as there is no requirement in Australia for it.
Also on a side note, the US have different engine models compared to other markets. Their F20C is not the same as our (AUS) F20C.

I may have gotten a confirmation code of 2,3 flashes on one of my first few attempts when I FIRST got the car and went thru the procedure... but it did not solve my problem. Since then I have done the procedure damn near 30 times... on multiple types of pavement from concrete to asphalt to sand and gravel. Have not seen a 2,3 flash.
As I mentioned in another post, I did a wiring continuity test as recommended in the manual and everything checked out except the middle spade on the TS connector.
I have found and ordered an AP1 Torque sensor from Australia on ebay.uk.... says it's fully functional... I've got my fingers crossed... it's running me about $150 shipped.
Bruunz... thanks for the confirmation on the Australian models not having the OBDII connector... I thought I was losing it as this car's not big so couldn't figure where else it could be hiding !

Strange thing was that the Motor side of the 2P connector A has it's wires backward versus the manual's description (Green and Red wires)...I don't know if this is because of the right hand drive configuration of this car and a manual for a US model LHD car.
I did notice that when I tested the resistance of the torque sensor's internal wiring, the middle terminal 2, PVF, that connects to the BLU/RED wire on the connector side, showed no continuity to Ground. This male connector on the sensor side should go to ground according to the manual.
