Well, I had fun but I'm up from my low although still down from my high. That's okay. Back home. It sure is easy to put back on.

Me too. Diet tonic and gin is very low on calories, so you can drink more.

Well, after being stuck around 185 for well over a week I said the hell with it and totally blew it tonight. Went out with friends and drank and ate way too much; then came home a did more! Do you ever get into that kind of mood?

Yes. Everytime since my last successful weight loss in 2014. Funny thing is, I would sometimes go down after doing that.

Yep. It takes me forever to lose even a pound or two and I get discouraged. We had an Olive Garden gift certificate and we used it last night. I asked for minimal sauce, ate only half my meal (will eat leftovers tonight) and thankfully was only up by .2 today. I believe you ALWAYS eat more when dining out than at home. I'll watch what I eat today. Weekend is here, which means overindulgence somewhere in the next two days.

This thread has really been quiet. Own up. For me, not good. Good example, tonight - nacho's, peanuts, and really salty pretzels along with beer, bourbon, and rum. No surprise, I've put back 5#'s but the good news is I'm 4# under where I started the year, just 3 months ago. No one to blame but me. I'm in a really bad frame of mind right now when it comes to dieting. Worst part is I know it but . . . and then I really pay for it.

I'm a few pounds lighter but not because I'm actively trying to lose weight. I've been eating better for awhile after seeing a higher prediabetic and triglyceride number on my bloodwork than I would like. Also exercising a lot more. Going back in a couple of weeks for a check, so I'm hoping for a change in the right direction.

Beer, bourbon and rum? Oh, you must have a cast iron stomach!

I'm stuck...down a little from early this year, but seem to "find" any loss over the weekend. Not motivated enough I guess. I'm still hitting the classes at the YMCA anyway which helps keep the wolves at bay a bit. There's a new Italian restaurant in town getting rave reviews and we have a gift certificate for the place. We may give it a try this weekend. There is a new brewery opening in town, and a new shop called "The Baker" has also opened. I've sampled a few of their wares and must not do that too often.

Our downtown area is revitalizing and the new establishments are not the place to hang out if one is supposed to be on a diet.

Dave you might like this place. https://mobydickbrewing.com/

I fell off the wagon months ago and I just got home from vacation last night. And of course I now have a cold. I'm sure the number is horrible.
