My Experiences with HardTopGuy

htg has gone out of his way to do so much for so many S2K owners he deserves a little slack when things get crazy for him. It's not like you are dealing with Jegs or Pep Boys.
If you can't handle it, or if you absolutely possitively have to have something by a certain date, shop elsewhere. Personally, I'll continue to give htg all the business I can as a way of thanking him for all he has done for our community.

Cool.
Really should have put a note up on his site or took a couple of minutes to email buyers though. He probably didn't just wake up one day and have two jobs.
Sure he's a cool dude, but a bad mistake on his part.

I don't thinks its unreasonable to keep customers who have paid for parts informed, especially after multiple attempts from them to get in contact.
Hopefully the networking will help us get cheaper parts

I dont care how good he has been in the past to anyone else, i have never dealt with such terrible service in my life. There is no excuse for not answering emails or phone calls for weeks. Take 2 minutes and change the message on your answering machine if your having a problem, give me a break.

He is a great guy and it's awesome being able to get parts from someone other than the dealer. But those who have paid for parts should be informed of what is going on, just communication. It's not like they haven't paid. The part has been paid for and they deserve the part or at least a quick reply explaining it's going to be longer and give them a solid date it can be shipped. I don't think it's unreasonable to be a bit bothered by the service provided. I will still personally purchase from him because I know things will settle down and the parts I order will be delivered quickly. I also know he is an asset to the community. However it would be considerate to email or call the people who are waiting.
