Well, I know that this isn't the style of many S2000 owners, but I like it. I like rare things, and I loved my S2000, until I saw so many exactly like mine, so I had to change her up just a little bit. I added the Veilside kit, and I know it's pretty played out, but it's the only kit out there that I really like right now. The body man that I used will be buying an S2000 shortly, and he's going to make a true widebody kit for it, so until then, this is what I'm sporting. The paint is Black paint with a blue pearl added to it. Light hits it at different points and it changes hues, sort of like the chameleon colors, but not exactly like it. Nakayama Phantom GTR's on 17's and 18's F/R respectively with Kumho 712's. The taillights I had smoked for $30, and if anyone's interested in the DFW area, I can refer you to my bodyshop to get it done. All the lights are still visible at light. Don't mind the exhaust, it's temporary until I find a nice one that I like. To those that don't like the scheme, it'll probably be a nice Kandy blue within the next year or two.

My S2000, the day after I bought it.

The way she looks now

My stock motor, for now

I'm looking to get at least 450 whp within the next year by way of turbo and a built motor. I've been trolling the boards to see what to do. I plan on going with a Mike Simon motor, and a custom turbo kit, maybe Cjb80's. We'll see Until then

If you like it, thats all you need, the pics make the body kit hard to see.

Yeah, the color for the flames actually makes the body kit hard to see even in person. In a sense, the paint job hid part of the bodykit, so I'll probably have it done differently soon. I figured a lot of people on this board would have negative comments, it's ok. I just posted the pics b/c quite a few people pm'd me wanting to see pics of it. I didn't post it thinking my car was really bad-ass. Besides, half the people that have negative comments wouldn't tell me to my face, so it's easy for them to say something negative on the internet. Everyone has their own taste, and this just happened to be mine, for now at least. To each his/her own.

why not paint the whole car that color? The dark blue? part looks bad ass, most of the time it's the added color that makes the car look bad, this time it's the stock yellow hahaha (if that makes sense).

I'll give you points for uniqueness, at least.
I probably would have painted part of the front lip yellow to accent the kit, but I'm not sure. And something about the trunk just looks too plain, too... compared to the flames, at least. ... and, yeah... the exhaust has got to go! Put some nice stainless or titanium down there.

Definitely an interesting scheme. It'll be interesting to see that cruising around town. Are you going to bring it out to one of the NTS2KOC meetings?

People might dog me for even saying this, but hey... I like it.

Hey Marcus, you were originally on the prelude group also right? I had a spa yellow lude until it got totalled. I too thought the trunk and front looked too plain, so I'll see if I can get that redone. I should be at the Tin Star for the Auto Show meet, so hope to see you there.

I like it for it's originality. I agree that the front should have stayed more yellow, but I do NOT like the smoked rear lights... too much like a camaro.

Kudos for the origanality and balls to try something "out there"!!

The color being dark does take away from the lines of the car and especially the kit. Maybe a different color would have worked better (I like the blue/black though).

When you repaint, I suggest you get rid of the Spa Yellow and go with GP White!

Good job!
