I think all black/blue would be very nice - dark colors really bring out the Veilside kit (light colors tend to make it rather ugly). Overall, it's not my taste but it's also not my car. If you like it, that's what counts. I like the SSR GT1s.

Personally, I'd repaint it all in one color or another (blue/black would be best, I think).

Well, hmmm. I'll be honest, I am not a fan of the Veilside kit. I also think that those kind of graphix tend to take away from the beauty of the lines of any car. So for me its a . However, just because it does not match my taste, doesn't mean you didn't put alot of work and hard earned money into your car, so thumbs up for modding your S.

On a side note though (and this is not really related to your car, just an observation because I found some people's comments interesting). Being "original" does not in and of itself make something impressive, there are tons of "original" ideas out there that are original for the simple fact that people realize it flies in the face of good taste (pink with green polka dots would be an "original" paint scheme ). Innovation (at least in aesthetics) comes from the ideas that are original, but manage to still be in good taste.

Schatten: I actually have dyno plots of my car putting 3whp more with the air lid off. I've heard that this is possibly from the fact that the fan is blown in front of the car, but I really feel a difference. What I have felt most is the engine straining to get around 8000 RPM with the lid on, and I feel hesitant to push the motor like that. It feels like it's breathing better with the lid off.

MikeS2K, lemme just put it this way. I'm extremely jealous of your JDM screen. Hopefully in the future I can do something like that. Out of all the custom LCD jobs I've seen, nothing looks better than yours, and it looks like it came from honda that way. Very cool

I'm pretty sure it wasn't a mustang dyno, maybe a dynojet? I dunno, not sure. I put down 200.1 whp with lid off, and 197whp with the lid on.

Hey wiseman,
I really don't understand what your problem is. I posted pics of my car, people said what they wanted. Some like it, some don't, some are just afraid to say anything at all. In any case, I really don't think it affects you in any way. So what if someone jumped over a tiger S2K. With everyone fixing up their cars these days, I'd like to try and do something different. If you don't like it, fine, why are you trying to push your views on other people on the board. If it bothers you so much, I'd stop posting on the thread and spare yourself the agony of looking at my car. BTW, noticed your 40 days old to this board, welcome to the group.
