Not related to MONDA but I finished up a uk mod exhaust for a friend. Times like this I wish I had a tig welder.

Looks like you have the wrong angle to get the best flow through the bypass.

Mine is a straight piece of pipe and probably why it's so loud and it cost me $100 to do. As long as the welds don't leak, your golden. Hawkman, the amount of money I'd have to pay someone to tig weld it and make it look that pretty is probably more than the value of the exhaust. I had a mint condition AP2 exhaust that I had a hard time GIVING AWAY, let alone selling.

I agree. A stock exhaust is worth maybe $150 and adding any more than $100 to it with the welding isn't worth it to me. My first uk mod exhaust that came with the car was a straight pipe. Sound was very similar.
Here is a shot of pre welds.

It's a bit of an optical 'conclusion'. From the side view, the flow is good.

Yeah, you're probably right, but I'm slightly OCD (my wife would say full-on OCD), so it's not about the money.

I love it when guys try to sell stock exhausts for $500 on Kijiji.

Tho' if you're NA, the stock exhaust is pretty damn good. The UK mod gives you a better sound and probably a few HP. Those Honda engineers were not a bunch of hacks.
