That's not normal, if it's been upside down or on the side during shipping it could probably leak through the gas vent.
Have you checked the voltage?

Would probaby get in contact with Si, if its not a sealed one you could buy some de-ionised water and top it up yourself.

Trunkz, chris does an awesome job and wont let you leave till your 100% happy. Thoroughly recommend

Looks like it has leaked a little - it should be fine - just clean it up sensibly and fill the 4th bank with some di-ionised water - there are 6 access screws/vents at the top of the battery (you can make them out in the pic).

I'll speak to our guy in the depatch side as he should have clearly marked the box with "this way up"/"TOP" etc .......

Fixed the Beeemmerrr last night. Boost pipe came off - tightened it back up with a decent jubilee clip and all is well. Looks like the S might get some love this week afterall!

topped it back up, surprised how much it took, i used a 50ml syringe and had to fill it 3 times, so took around 120ml!! thats a fair bit of acid lost, hopefully it wont effect it?

It will be absolutely fine! TBF That's quite a small %. It will rejuvenate with some miles once fitted. All Honda Batteries have a 3 year warranty so you don't need to worry at all.

ok no worries, the label had to be removed to fill it back up, and it was loose anyway due to the acid spill and all the packing stuff that had stuck to it, so hopefully it wont effect any return in the future?

can you run a bigger traction fluid cooler on these Si?

Also can you find out the maximum safe fluid temp for charger?
