Description: This is the original SCCA certified bar for the S2k. I purchased it new from the designer who sold the jigs that now reside with Hard Dog bars.
My unit has the removable diagonal bar and the removable harness bar. I did the installation using the excellent DVD made by the designer and which will
be provided with the bar.

Would also consider trading my (carefully) trimmed interior pieces for your untrimmed ones.

Buy with confidence! Cal is a fantastic guy. Sorry not to see you at the track anymore but I understand. I could arrange pickup and delivery to Watkins Glen for the SCDA event if needed.

Oh the temptation!

Is it currently installed in a car? I`ll be passing through Manchester this weekend and would love to check it out.
Is there any intereference with the soft top?
Any loss of adjustability in the seat?
Any worries about hitting my head on it?
How far does it extend above the stock roll hoops?

I can answer some questions
No interference
Some seat mobility lost. I am 6' 32" inseam and I fit comfortably
There is padding available I would reccomend installing if there is none on the bar still/anymore. There is a definite tradeoff to having a roll bar in a daily driver, but (my opinion) a bigger risk not having one in a track used car like ours.
Sits forward of the stock roll hoops and appears to be about 4/4.5" taller.
In car I don't know

Cal, you were my first track day instructor at NHMS about 5 years ago!

IIRC Cal also coached Ellen at NHMS at her first track day.

Looks like the lurker has been exposed. I visit Upstate to remain "in touch" with some of the great people I had so much fun with at the track(s). Not to mention that it such an active site in no small measure to the efforts of A2.

Paul, your offer concerning the transport of the roll bar is very much appreciated. Sorry to read about your problems at the Glen. Reminds me of the time the front right axle nut came off driving down the six lane highway toward Montreal after a weekend at Mont Tremblant! The only thing that kept the wheel "on" the car was the brake caliper.
