Saturday evenings - A group of us are trying to pull together some larger north and south island meets for the nice weather. Meets are being centralized in Duncan. If your interested let me know and perhaps we can get a group of us together to head up to a few. Good bunch of people. This group consists of members from Courtney/Comox, all the way down to Victoria. These meets are every Saturday.

Sunday evenings at 6:30 - The Nanaimo meets are also still happening on Sunday evenings at 6:30. For the most part this meet consists of the North Island owners and is a sub set of the above group. We decided to try and centralize the meets and that is the reason for the Duncan Saturday meets, as Duncan is between Nanaimo and Victoria so it was chosen for the island meets.

Friday May 24th - This group are also planning a mass Fast and Furious 6 movie meet. There is a poll currently going on at the Autociety facebook site to see if the group will be heading to Nanaimo to attend the movie release, or if they are coming to Victoria to watch it here. Again this is an island wide group with people from as far as Courtney/Comox and all the way down to Victoria. No particular models or makes, just a bunch of car enthusiasts like us. Who's coming?

Monday May 20th 12:00 - Capital Drift event at Western Speedway in Victoria. For those of you that have not been to a drifting event, this is something spectacular..., lots of cars in the parking lot and all those drifters on the track. I highly recommend attending one of these if you haven't yet.

Sunday May 26th - VMSC Autoslalom. This is an autocross event. Again something I would suggest that you go and watch. In my opinion, everyone should take part in at least one of these. I did it and it was a blast. Find out what your car feels like when it is pushed. Very good bunch of people and all levels from first time, to the experts. They are very helpful indeed and sometimes they allow you to ride with a participant just to see what it is like.

Sunday, June 23rd - Also lets not forget the All Japanese Imports meet at Gyro park next month. There is a signup list in this forum. If your planning on going, let me know so we can cruise in together and park as a group.
