Appealing Offering

We've seen our fair share of modified Acura NSX models, ranging from mild to wild, with a few sprinkled in between. But few are as unique as this Stockholm-based 1991 NSX currently up for grabs at Blocket. With an asking price of just USD 58,773, this cool custom sports car obviously won't attract the big bucks a clean, stock example will, but that's also part of its appeal.

One Big Change

The biggest and most obvious modification present on this particular first-gen NSX is its VeilSide body kit, which totally transforms the look of the car and modernizes it quite a bit. That could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you feel about it, but we're personally digging the new look.

Upscale Cabin

The interior, by contrast, isn't anything crazy or over the top, but rather, an exercise in subtlety. Here, you'll find plenty of carbon fiber trim and Alcantara, all of which gives it a sportier and more upscale look than a regular old first-gen cabin.

S2000 Piece

Perhaps the most notable modification present here, however, is the digital instrument cluster taken from a Honda S2000, which is framed by a quick-release Momo steering wheel. Interestingly, that piece looks right at home in the cockpit of Acura's vaunted sports car.

Modifications

Peek in the rear, and you'll find a mildly upgraded version of the car's original 3.0-liter V6 VTEC powerplant, which is now making around 300 horsepower, compared to the stock rating of 270. Other than that, the only other performance upgrade present on this NSX is a set of BC Racing coilovers to shore up the handling a tad.

Controversial Looks?

However, there's no getting over the way this car looks, and from the rear, it's very Ferrari 360-like. It's a massive visual overhaul for a car that arguably doesn't need it, but then again, many would argue otherwise. The car's staggered 19- and 20-inch wheels are also an interesting styling choice that could prove controversial, to boot.

Needs a Home

Regardless, for those that like the way this NSX looks, it's a pretty affordable way to get a custom example of the vaunted sports car. It also has just 7,941 miles on the clock, an incredibly low figure, and is in fantastic condition as a result. Regardless, for now, at least, it continues to sit around and wait for someone to come along and buy it.
