Super Clean Silverstone S2000 Shines Bright

Gem of a Find

Finding a solid deal on a nice, original S2000 is getting harder and harder these days. But this ultra-clean AP2 we spotted recently at Bring a Trailer certainly fits that bill. It's been immaculately cared for over the years, and it certainly shows.

Good for Some

This, despite living under three (and now four) owners since new. And yet, this Silverstone beauty nabbed just over $15k in its most recent sale. The reason? Its got 82k miles on the clock, which is low in our book but kinda high for collectors.

Remarkable Condition

You'd certainly never know this car had that kind of mileage by looking at it. Everything from the paint to the interior and engine bay looks like brand new, with no real signs of wear anywhere.

Tracking Down

Most of those miles were driven by the original owner. The second owner tacked on 15k miles, while the third owner drove it just 600 miles over the course of a few months.

Few Hiccups

As you might imagine, everything you'd want with a car this nice is there. That includes the window sticker, manuals, and clean title and Carfax. The only real hiccup is an aftermarket radio, but the original comes with the car.

Nearly Flawless

Inside, the black leather interior looks basically flawless. Clearly, the previous owners took excellent care of the AP2's insides and probably never ate or drank in here, either.

Typical Wear

There is some wear on the driver's seat bolster, but that's to be expected. Heck, you can barely sit in any leather seat these days without leaving some sort of creases.

Recently Serviced

This S2000 also received a 60k-mile service that included a valve adjustment, new spark plugs, new rear differential bushings, and replacing the rear differential fluid.

And that's just part of a full, extensive service history that dates back to the day the car was brand new.
