5 Reasons You'd Sell Your S2000
Any reason to sell?! Post up!
Only reason I'd sell is for another S2000, Atom, or GTR.

Only if...
a) I was physically incapable of driving it anymore, or
b) something significantly better ("better" being in my determination) came along that I simply *had* to have.
So far, the car is still in perfect driving condition, I am still capable of driving it, and nothing else meets my requirements the same way the S does. So it stays.

I've already got a wife who has lived with my S for 6 1/2 years now, kid who loves my S, and house, whose garage houses my S. Only reasons I'd sell are
a) if I were in truly dire financial need, and honestly, I'd turn the S into a daily driver before that happened because of its reliability and relative fuel economy.
b) If something truly remarkable came along that would be worth shedding the S for. Options here are a new model of S2000 that outshines the old, or if the new NSX really, really, really floats my boat. Both are currently just Honda vaporware, so the S2000 remains.

Mmmm, yeah I'll get back to you with that one.
Brb, going out for a drive.
But seriously, I don't think I personally will ever have or need to sell it. I'm still 21 and living at home, so I'm trying to bank as much money as possible to buy my own house without having to sell my S.

Great poll B. I like this one for some reason.
Wife hates the S2000 (calls it the Bitch)
Kids are grown and don't have that issue.
House is close to being paid off.
If the car started to cost more to fix than keep. (just find another one to replace it)
Keep it for life I guess.

This is actually the reason i am currently parting out and selling my S.
I discovered how awesome motorcycles are!!!
Cheaper, faster, more reliable, repairs and parts are for the most part cheaper, and wayyy more fun to ride.
As fun as the S was to drive, it pales in comparison to my new Yamaha Fz-09. I have never have so much fun in my life and seeing as I already have a stick shift civic as a daily, the motorcycle is my new fun and release, I literally dont even care to drive the S anymore which is crazy cause it was the only thing I looked forward to driving just several months ago
If i could keep all 3 I would, But 3 payments puts somewhat of a strain on my finances and the civic is to new and reliable to not keep as a daily. So the S has to go. I will be sad to see it leave but that feeling wont last long once i jump on the bike lol

You're doing it wrong. 147K+, autocross it all the time, taken it to the track(that's going to happen more often too), daily it, and am taking it road tripping to the tune of 1,100 miles this weekend.
As for my response to my vote, from my cold, dead hands.
