has anyone tried running 3.5" piping into the k&n FIPK box with a velocity stack?

The one at the bottom of page 4 is the nicest example of a 3.5" K&N intake and 06Estukay was kind enough to provide a parts list

I just ordered my k&n FIPK intake from 4 wheel online so can't comment yet about its performance and fit. Will post a short review once it is installed.

I'll probably end up doing something like this as well. Please take lots of pictures and measurements of the K&N pieces vs the replacement parts!
