Wrapping a trunk lid
I have a trunk lid that will be for track use with a wing.
Need to get it wrapped because it is in pretty ugly shape.
Besides a pro wrapping shop for 150-200 is there anyone in the area that can do a reasonable job if I but the material?
Also any suggestions on material-prob go with cheezy CF look.

For that price, $150-200 plus materials, you could prob paint it. I just picked my car up from the a new shop in Arlington and am happy with their work! Lmk if you would like more details.

I've never done wrapping before but from the on line videos it doesn't look hard at all, especially on a surface like a trunk. Borrow a heat gun and give it a try Peter, it looks like a two person job judging by the DIY videos.

Prob not worth Painting, but would appreciate any details.
Steve,
I could likely do it, but would be more comfortable with someone who has done it a bit, so I don't screw it up.
To your point, this will be a functional piece that will only go on when headed to the track, so appearance is not particularly important.
Thanks for the opinions gents.
