Default Driving The Texas twisted sisters

I'm new to s2ki and a fairly new 2nd owner of a 2000 model S I've been having way too much fun for the last 6 months of ownership. About to take her on her first serious road trip to the Texas hill country to drive the three Texas twisted sisters the weekend of 9-30-16. I'm just curious about who has done the drive in their S?

I have, one word of advice. Avoid this route on the weekends or holidays.

Yeah I'm thinking it may be crowded out there esp with bikes but the trip is planned so will try to make the most of it by getting up early and hitting the road before most get out and about.

Been on it (not in my s).

Great road, but FAR to busy to enjoy it.

There are some great drives in the West Texas Big Bend area if you ever get a chance to make a trip. The lack of traffic makes them far better than the very popular central Texas routes.

The drive was amazing! Got started about 8:30 a.m. beat the cycle traffic except for one guy on a sport bike, we had a good time on a straight stretch up to about 120 before we had to check up for curves. We covered all three by lunch then hit a couple wineries. If you've never done it I highly recommend! We may go back when foliage starts to change.
