SLK230 vs S2000
Well, like the title suggests...Between these two cars, what are pros and cons of both? Which is nicer, more power, more trusting, etc...?
Thanks
Thanks

more power? two seconds on google will tell you that
more trusting? wtf does that mean?
nicer?
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...............
SLK230 is an old mercedes C-class with less structural rigidity and a folding metal hardtop.
S2000=use the search function.
........moron
Oh man.......I bet you meant SLK350!
In that case....SLK will will be more luxurious, faster, and more expensive
the S2k will handle better (less understeer, better steering, etc) and cost alot less.

And no, I am talking about the 230, like a 2000 model year.

My dad had a 99 230 SLK and it's for the older crowd. More of a cruiser...if that makes sense...than a 2 door sportscar. It feels fast when the SC kicks in but it isn't that quick.
He had a few problems with it like the left rear light going out all the time and even though it was brought to the dealer several times it would happen again and again. It would rattle from every corner ... it was quite funny because you have the label but not the quality.
He loved it though but again he's 60+
When the SLK came out it was considered the poor man's SL at the time.
You should go test drive one and see how you like it for yourself.

Thank you Mutlu. That was more of a response I was looking for I just cannot find anything about this car. Everytime I look for something about it like numbers, just general specs, reviews; all I can find is the new SLK...

People say this all the time, but you do really need to test drive both in a day. You will see then which suits you better instantly.. Provided the dealer lets you hit and pass 6500 rpms in the S, and take some corners..

- Horrible steering feel. It's like driving a pickup truck.
- Electrical gremlins like all the recent Mercedes
- V6 engine sounds and feels very uninspiring, not sporty at all
- Manual transmission is terrible
- Mercedes lost their butt on retractable hardtop warranty repair cost. You don't want to be the one footing the repair bill when the warranty runs out.

I've driven an SLK230, and let's just say that even girls wouldn't like driving that thing. Grandmas would like it better.
As for which has more power, uh...a simple search would yield instant result.
