P1457 - Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Control System Leakage (EVAP Canister System), has to do with the EVAP system, not the secondary air injection system. The EVAP system gathers, stores, and purges gas vapor from the tank into the engine.

just installed! Very happy that I can get rid of one more CEL. Although, when I was going about removing all of the airpump crap... I found out why I was getting the CEL for the airpump (disconnected vacuum line). Oh well.

Hardest thing was getting the hard line on the frame rail out of the car. The current sensor was also a pain, since I didn't know you have to take it apart to disconnect the other connector. Saved a whopping 5lbs... now I can go enjoy more Five Guys Hamburgers

Does this work on EURO cars? I'm in the UK and just seen this.

LOL, Labview used that at work for simulators (the kit is a bit expensive) - its a bit chunky as just C underneath but pretty cool.

Sorry, only USDM S2000's. I've already developed a prototype simulator for non-USDM S2000's and am having them tested now. The air pump monitoring system for non-USDM S2000's is very simple, the USDM system is far more complex.

You can bypass non-USDM S2000 air pump by replacing the pump with a 20W, 12 OHM resistor (however, you have to keep the fuse box, relay, and entire wiring harness attached/connected).

LabVIEW is very powerful, I use it all the time for data gathering.

EDIT:

I've been receiving quite a few PM's on where to purchase the air pump simulator. I'm currently an S2ki sponsor, my air pump simulator thread can be found here: https://www.s2ki.com/...ump-delete-kit/
