How would these compare to engine mounts like the Megan mounts?

Thanks for the great write up, man.
Your thread saved me great troubles trying to figure out the best way to tackle. Got both motor and tranny mounts swapped out, cleaned up and torqued to spec in under 2 hours (air ratchet did help on the 8 engine bolts).

It sure did! Thanks again.

I'll add a little...(I'd also humbly suggest a thread title change since yours was perfect for installation of OEM mounts too and much more concise and helpful than anything else I've found out there).

I'd like to add that at 130K, my transmission mounts were totally fine...so I'd recommend skipping his unless you're upgrading to stiffer.

For driver side, I found it a lot easier to get it into place by going in front of the cross member...I took it out from behind it and it was a PITA to get clearance. I also went ahead and did remove entire engine mount bracket on both sides...made it very easy since you don't have to bother with the 17MM until off the car (put it in a vice).
