1995 Honda Accord Wagon, H22, 5spd, 5lug
I bought the car last May for $5000. I'm looking to sell it for $5000.
In the time I've owned it, I put on brand new hubs/bearings all the way around, new axles, overhauled the motor (gaskets, piston rings, new spark plugs, valve adjustment (valve train is still in great condition...didn't need cams, gears, or valve spring replacement), new plug wires, new distributor, new ignitor), new audio all the way around, all fluids swapped out less than 1000 miles ago, 5lug swap, added a new alarm (has remote start, just need to connect a couple of wires to the starter which I purposely left undone), clay bar-ed and polished a few weeks ago, and cleaned up the interior.
The car is running in tip-top shape; chassis has close to 200k, the H22 swap (Prelude motor) has close to 70k miles.
Here's what I hadn't gotten to fix as of yet: exhaust cannister has one broken hanger, paint is chipped here and there, rust is just starting on the rear wheel arches, window and door trim could use a replacement, passenger window rail needs to be greased (it goes up and down really slowly), driver side window rail or window needs to be tightened (the window goes off track when going up), needs a new rear window defroster button, needs a new vent control knob, needs a rear hatch roof light assembly, AC needs a recharge, needs new hatch struts, and needs a new rear driver side seat back 'lock garnish' (the knob portion has cracked off....however, you can still grab the lock to lift and unlock the rear seat to fold down).
All other electrical stuff is working great, mechanical is working great. Car has a clean title and is in hand.
I know the above sound like a lot, but all parts are available on the cheap and is all easy to fix stuff. I just don't have the time to do all of it, and had started becoming a project car for me. I didn't want/need another project car; I just needed a cool daily beater.
The car is a 1995 Honda Accord LX. There may be a little room to negotiate, but if so, I'll probably start taking off some of the audio and put the car on different 5-lug wheels.
Let me know if you want to know more or see the car.
