Default Shop to Re-Valve KW V3?

I just spoke to KW USA and they said they will not re-valve non-competition shocks--so bad news for us V3 and Club Sport owners. I have heard there are shops that will re-valve them, anyone know who will do it?

On a related note KW charges $167 per shock for a rebuild.

That is some disappointing news.

From what I've understood KW will only revalve them back to the out of the box spec. Maybe PSI? They are west coast but one of the better shops for sure. Maybe try contacting Vorshalg and see if they have any ideas? They primarily deal with AST but they might be able to help.

Through lots of e-searching in the past, I found that these guys might be able to help but the post on S2ki was from 2009

SRPengineering.com

If they are a no go, maybe propartsusa or performanceshock would help if you provided replacement clubsport parts to them.

Good luck!

Robi revalves KW's in socal as well. Youd have to search for him though. Robi-spec or something like that. Very knowledgeable shock builder.

Thanks Squirtle, I found the RobiSpec.com website. The shop is exactly what I was looking for. I'll give them a call tomorrow.

Just to be clear, KW USA will rebuild the shocks for $167 each, but they will not re-valve them.
