Is the soft top with the rails on or just the fabric?
In order for the seal to be as tight and as waterproof as possible, you will have to put a very strong piece of fabric/leather underneath. This should be both glued and stitched for better results. Only then you can be sure that it will last.
It doesnt have to be someone in particular to pull the job through but just remember to tell him to stitch it as well.
Only last con to this mod is that you will also be able to see 2 small black fabric lines/stitches... (couldnt care more personaly
)
