Heard this at a meeting last night.



The police will now being ticketing speeders on the dragon
They will be in both marked (start and finish) and unmarked vehicles motorcycles and cars.

They will ticket you if you are more then 5 miles over the posted speed limit.

Iif you are tagged doing +20 over say by-by to your car.

Good thing the radar goes off about 5 curves before they can see you! The guys with loud exhasusts are screwed though. I seriously doubt they even show up unless its a busy weekend with, for example, 150 S2000's all over the place.

This is really the main reason for me to want to go with a smaller group. I remember one time up there they had the helicopters out following people. They won't do that crap unless there is a ton of folks out.

I was just reminded I have a wedding to attend on 4/7 so hopefully 3/31 is the go date.

That stuff about all the increased enforcement turned out to be false. I read an update about it the other day.

The go date is Friday 3/30 with a backup date of 4/6. I would like to figure out the +1s as quick as possible to help decide the sleeping arrangments.
