Got a call from Barber yesterday things are starting to move.
There will be a special event on Thursday before race weekend at the Grand River Mall ( across the interstate form Barber). Izod, IRL and some of the other racing organizations will be present at this event.
Barber is setting this up to be the big pre race event/party.
There is request for the S2000 group to be represented at this event.
So therefore I will need the local guys to speak up to support this event.
There will be a special event on Thursday before race weekend at the Grand River Mall ( across the interstate form Barber). Izod, IRL and some of the other racing organizations will be present at this event.

Kerm - I want a 4am shirt ... I mean I was with you when you sent that text. Also...if we eat at the Mexican place again...I say we all have a fishbowl race!
Ohhh if you haven't finished the shirt you should totally put Surfer on Acid not allowed somewhere on it!
I am going as Jess's +1 from talking with him since I sold my s2k... oh well it should be just as fun as it was last year except not getting to drive the track again... I can take pictures for people if they want to lend me their camera (mine blows donkey *****).
Update: Booked a room for me and Jess

OK, give me an itinerary to sell and we will sell it ; )
I need a number of locals that would like to participate that have the cars decaled already and that can show if needed?
I will be bustin' it to get the viewing location and camp site set up Thursday afternoon. None of which involve driving the car.
So if you are local and interested in being a part of the pre race festivities, SHOUT OUT!!!!!

Jack and Lisa will be down there Thursday morning. We can be there as early as needed. Hunstville's only up the road. We'll be able to assist in any way at the track and the show. Jack Galentine - 256-617-0775.
