Acura NSX Concept
Looks like we will be seeing the NSX concept at the Detroit Motor Show next month!!!! Basic details are as follows:
Mid-Mounted V6 sending power to all 4 wheels via a 7-speed Dual Clutch!!!!! Give me REAL paddle shifters (not pull the paddle and wait a few seconds for something to happen) and you can kiss Zach and Nick's college fund GOODBYE! Now C/D is speculating on a 90k-130k range but I think it needs to come in under the GT-R to really be special. The original NSX was compared against the Corvette, Porsche 911 Carerra, and Ferrari 360 (according to the sales training brochure I had). That 90-130 range would put it put against the Corvette ZR-1, Nissan GT-R and the Porsche 911 Carerra 4S...that's some stiff competition.
Then again it is Acura and we know that Honda's thinking has been suspect. They could keep it 1/3 of thee LF-A price and tell us what a good deal is and how we are lucky to get it at all.
