hey party people-

on my way up here from florida a few months ago, a 100% unavoidable piece of retread smashed the lip on '95.

i think i'd rather fix it than replace it, b/c if it ever happens again i'd rather it not be to a new one!

as well, last year i had it re-sprayed. there are a lotsa chips again. do yours get that chipped or do you think it needed a better job? i got it done @ a mercedes/maybach dealership in naples.

anyway, do you guys know of anywhere around here that can repair that lip (must be SURE they will do it right!)?

oh really? sweet. have u had similar things done there before aldo? i don't know how difficult it is to repair urethane (is that what it's made of)?

i wonder if i can get that clear film over it so the next time it gets repainted i won't have to see all the chips again.

Didnt happen. The dude never got back to him. You should just buy the whole thing and snap it right on instead of trying to remove the lip from the bumper with all that 2 sided tape. Then just put up a post and sell your old one to someone else.

 

hm well i don't wanna go thru trying 2 sell mine! lol. i've yet to PM him but i will do it now!
