Well he started right up. Plus 1 and took a drive up Franklin to Callery. Picked up some mud in the rode. Caught some sprinkles. Came home and Bill came out to take me to dinner and a movie since Mary Rose has Bunco. We took the S tonight. Funny how you don't really remember how much you miss it until you get behind the wheel and drive it

Happy Birthday, Jim! It sounds like you had a good one. We did the same thing today. I uncovered the S for the first time since Nov., disconnected the battery tender and she fired right up. Got a surprise, though. When I hook up the battery tender I drape a towel over the driver side fender and run the wires across it to an extension cord and then lightly lower the hood. Apparently a crafty rodent climbed up the extension cord and found a nice, soft, warm place to spend the winter on the towel! So there might be a creature still lurking somewhere in our car. If you hear a scream, it's probably Joyce (but it might be me!).

Has anyone checked their front subframe bolts? I have been meaning to for like a year or two and keep forgetting. Then finally this weekend I did and they were loose.

Not super loose, but loose enough I think it has been messing with my alignment. I continue to get some pretty bad wear on the front tires even after a fresh alignment a year ago.

I haven't but I want to get the Spoon subframe collars to make sure everything stays aligned.

Will the Spoon collars also address the root cause of subframe fasteners slowly losing torque over time?
