The elevator feels like free falling. My ears actually popped on the way down.

Breakfast!!!!

Croissant. Pineapple chunks. Potatoes. Beef bacon. Beef sausage. Waffle. Grilled tomatoe. Scarmbled eggs.

The buffet is huge!

It is 104 with a heat index of 118. I walked 800 meters to lunch with a buddy and I look like I stepped out of a swimming pool. If I can stop being a baby I will throw on my swim suit and go to the pool on the 21st floor otherwise I might just lay here with a cold wet towel on me.

So lunch. Google told us Pizza, Pasta and Broccoli was 800 meters away so we walked.

I ordered a Shrimps (yes shrimps) salad with garlic bread and a coke. My buddy ordered a Greek salad. Nothing fancy but not bad for 7.35.

It is humid. Only 35% this morning but that is why the distance shots are so hazy.

Just got back from Al Marina mall. Taxi ride there was around 10-15 min and cost us 25 AED which is like 6 USD. That same cab ride in NYC would have been like 25 USD.

We did see Lamborghini Abu Dhabi. Going to see if I can round up a contact before we head over.

You can see just how hazy it is from the humidity. That isn't dust or sand.

Just got back from the pool with my buddy. This is the life. My wife and boys are going to love it. Go out, get hot and toasty, jump in the pool which is the perfect temp, get out and air dry in 2 min....rinse and repeat. I didn't even use a towel.

Sorry the end of the Mural got cut off...two ladies walked up and I wanted to be sensitive about not catching them in the picture. You really have to be careful over here or so I was taught even though I see them whip their phones out and take pics of everything. A woman in a full burka (everything but her eyes covered) today was video taping her husband and boys in the pool and was catching everyone. I figured I would be dragged away if I did that.
