Default Let's do Wake the Dragon!

Wake The Dragon all the information can be found here. I would recommend if you plan on attending to make your hotel reservation now, and post in the thread linked above your desire to attend. If we can get a group to go I would be more than happy to lead the group down. We would leave on Friday in the morning and return Sunday night, unless the group wanted to take the extra day and come back on Monday. Then we could do a couple extra runs on the Dragon Sunday. According to my Maps and Streets the drive from the Irwin Exit of the Turnpike is 8 hours and 29 minutes. So, with a stop for food, gas and restrooms it would be more like a 10 hour trip.

So, who's in for the run?

If the OH group didn't drive almost through my back yard, I would have tried to hook up with your caravan. Hmm... from some of the interstates that I've driven through in WV, the drive down to the dragon would be a lot of fun.

Anyway, here's another fun pic of this amazing road.

I will be making the trip down to Atlanta on thursday and going up to Alcoa on Friday from Atlanta. Soooooo, I won't be able to make the trip with ya'll on Friday, but hope to see you there. Unless there are any intrepid volunteers that want to burn the roads with me on Thursday?

Hey guys.

Will there be different groups (spirited, touring, etc.) on this one like FC '04? I really don't want to go out there a first-timer and end up part of someone else's car, either from the front or rear (LINESUPER, you know what I'm talking about don't you?!? ).

P.S. Still digging the calendar LINESUPER.
