Long Time Member Terry Kavala’s Passing
Very sad news to report.
Terry Kavala, a long time member of the Allegheny Owners Club, lost his battle with lymphoma today.
Terry was a very nice and friendly man who always remained upbeat, even while suffering with a major disease. He will definitely be missed.
Terry Kavala
Obituary:
Terrence M. Kavala, age 63, of Gibsonia, on October 24, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Born on July 13, 1960 to the late Francis Kavala and late Clare Jane Brown Damico. Terrence is survived by his devoted wife of 37 years, Sheri L. (Vought) Kavala, daughter, Nichole (Brandon) Heide, son, Kevin Kavala, brother, Chris (Lil) Kavala, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Phyllis (Taraski Przepierski) Kavala and sister, Susan (Ron) Boone.
A proud Gannon University alum, he served his community as a Case Manager for the Allegheny County Area Agency on Aging. He loved to drive his S2000 Honda convertible, was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed fishing, hiking, and biking.
Friends received Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd., Bakerstown. Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Richard Church, Sts. Martha and Mary Parish with Fr. Michael Roche, celebrant. Interment will follow in Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Terrance's memory to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at www.lls.org. Online condolences can be given at www.schellhaasfh.com
Please keep Terry, Shari and their family in your thoughts and prayers.

I’m just now seeing this. How terrible!
He was one of the first people I met from what I’ll call the “CnC” scene…as a result of Jim’s gathering actually.
More recently, I simply enjoyed hearing about the drives he and Sheri were doing in their S.
Appreciate you sharing, Fred.
