Man in his 20s killed in crash with semi
Accident closes street in Auburn

A man in his 20s died Monday when he lost control of his Honda S-2000 convertible, crossed the centerline and hit a semi-tractor trailer in Auburn.

The man, who suffered multiple injuries to his head and body in the impact, died instantly, Auburn police said.

A 27-year-old man driving the semi was taken to Auburn Regional Medical Center for rib pain.

The truck driver was in stable condition, police said.

The accident occurred on C Street Southwest shortly after 3 p.m.

Witnesses told police the Honda was headed northbound at high speed.

The driver of the Honda was trapped inside the car and had to be extricated.

His identity was not available.

C Street Southwest was closed from Eighth Street Southwest to the city of Auburn's maintenance shops, and traffic was rerouted as police investigated the accident.

it's amazing how many S drivers don't have a clue about this site.....In Wheeling there are atleast 5 or so...mainly middle aged bankers....I've even told them about it....whatever..their loss..those are the people that drive them once in a while, shift at 5K, and service everything at the dealership...to each his own!

Did I tell you about the fire at the printers? I risked my life and ran into the blazing building to save everyone's cards except Dennis'. And all I get is criticism!
