I would like to go, but I need to do some stuff to my car before I get back out there.

I saw 2 Silver S2000s (AP1s?) at this event. Both were tracking with the top down. Anyone on here? I wanted to stop by and say hi but didn't get a chance to.

One of them was me! I was the silverstone with exhaust.

The other was a sebring Ap1 who did come over to chat with me about tire pressures. It was his first time on track and he has only had the S a few weeks.

Were you the 06+ in Novice group?

Not fully on topic but still local track related.

Went to Nelson Ledges this past weekend with a buddy's EVO9. Drove the car pretty hard but was conservative in a couple of key corners during entry to keep things on the safe side. Other corners were safe enough to have a bit of fun.

Got a best lap of 1:20.3 which is about 1 second slower than my time 3 years ago in my E36 M3. You can see how the red line peaks higher and later compared to the gray line. I also had a lot more balls 3 years ago through the kink, lol.

Does anyone else have any lap times or data they want to share from Nelson Ledges?

Very cool? What are you using that collects this kind of data? I'm interested!

RaceChrono + Bluetooth 10Hz GPS + Bluetooth OBD2 Reader for video with overlay etc.
And RaceLogic Circuit Tools for data analysis and making graphs.

How was the track at Nelson's? Last I heard the surface was pretty rough.

Yeah, it's definitely bumpier than BR. But no holes or anything. Just areas where they put some tar patch down a little thick. But yeah, it's a 'backwoods' track for sure. But I love it since the track layout overcomes its surface shittiness in my eyes. Lots of cambered high grip corners, double spex complex corner, and a kink that really separates the men from the boys, so to speak. I was about 10 mph faster than my buddy through the kink and about 10 mph slower than I should've been, lol.
