Soft Top Install in Pittsburgh
Hey all!
Moving from Texas back home to Pittsburgh in a few weeks. I have a MY02 with a top in need of replacement. I found the DIY here and am going to purchase a Robbin's Top. I have a fellow S2ker from DC coming up to help, but I figured I would throw a line out and see if anyone with experience changing tops would be interested in advising / helping / laughing at us while drinking beer. Timeframe is Mid-July. Let me know if you're interested.
Thanks!
Chris

With a couple of people it is not too bad. The pain in the ass part is the rear rain guard area. By yourself it would be horrible I think but with a buddy to help lift and pull etc shouldn't be too bad. The diy online helped. I mostly just looked at instal instructions from the top I bought (EZ-ON) which sucked pretty bad so kinda just guessed for most things lol.
If I was closer I would def help. Was there 2 weekends ago and it is a loong drive from me!

I am planning to tackle this in the next couple months also. Keep me posted on your plans, we may be able to help each other out. Mine is a MY2000 so I am going to upgrade to the glass window as well.

Welcome back. Keep me posted on when and if I am in town I would not mind giving a hand.
Might help some people if you post up what area of town too (north hills, south hills...).
