I couldn't agree with Dan more. The Mazdas just felt numb and sloppy. There was very little feedback from the car. My fastest time in the Mazdas was 42.65 with a hit cone. I had to really force myself to push them hard. I believe the fastest time of the day in the Mazdas was 39.??
I also made two runs in my car. 1st run I spun out and did not finish. The second run I think was 40.35? Not great but I'll take it for my first time auto-crossing.
Overall it can't think of a better way to cut out on a half day of work and only spend $89. It was great for novice drivers, such as myself, but maybe a bit boring for the accomplished driver.
