Hey guys and gals,
I am not a big social media person (don't use facebook, myspace and only have youtube for the in-laws. However I am trying to think of ways to keep the club growing and I thought twitter might be a good idea.

FULL DISCLOSURE:I have never used Twitter before today.

I have set up a twitter page for the club @AlleghenyS2K. I will NOT be following anyone or any companies with this page but will be using it only to communicate with members. My goal is to be able to communicate on meets, cruises, last minute get togethers,or rain delays using Twitter.

For instance we are trying to meet this saturday for Pittsburgh Cars & Coffee. If we decided to hold the event but saturday morning it starting raining I could Tweet "rain...no meet" and everyone could get it on their cell phones.

If the experiment doesn't go well I will be closing down the account. For now you can follow the page at:
