S2KI Changes Ownership
#22
Wow...I'm a bit surprised, but change is good. I've been around quite awhile here myself and plan to stay another while. Thanks to Erik, Shelley, JP and Rylan for many fun years of S2Ki. I found a new family here after I bought my first S in 2001, and many of those relationships exist to this day. We certainly had some adventures! Congratulations to Robb. It's good to know that there will be continuity in the form of someone who has a vested interest in the community.

Wow Deb...didn't think those pics would ever surface again
Thanks to all of you for the memories and the friendships over the years. We're leaving the site in good hands and I'm sure it will continue to grow and flourish as it has done with all of your contributions and participation.

Congratulations to the ex-owners and welcome to the new. I was the first to sign up with Shelley many years ago (see sig) and look forward to more years right here. This site has been a lot of fun, information and help, and I trust that will continue.

Thank you everyone for making the site what it is. It was like yesterday for me when s2000fans.com went live. Everyone loved this S2000 so much that s2ki was born and evolved into what we all have today. Truly amazing that one model of vehicle made such a big difference in so many lives. I will treasure the people I got to know, online and in person. Yes I have met a few folks
Keep reving to 9000 rpms and for those who are not so lucky to do that with your AP2's, well sorry!!!!

Congrats! I look forward to being here for years to come. The car and community have been so important to me on my automotive journey: from RedMx5 (Chuck) browbeating me into trying autocross to doing my first wrenching with the help of the FAQs and DIYs to having my wife win a National BSL jacket and meeting s2k'ers in Nebraska... It's been a long journey! All our other cars have changed, but this site is what keeps us loyal. We currently have two S2000s with possible future addition of another.
It's wonderful to hear Internet Brands historic commitment to retaining the feel of the communities, I look forward to another 11 years!

Congratulations to you all on building such a fantastic institution over the past 11 years. You have served well and done an excellent job, sometimes in trying circumstances. Your dedication has always been second to none.
You have all been a pleasure to work with since I've been around the last 9 years I've been lucky enough to meet you all in person (except Shelley - maybe one day?) on several occasions, plus other significantly influential people involved with the site. I sincerely hope you all stick around to continue your love of the site and the one thing that keeps us all bonded together, the Honda S2000.
it's a bit emotional reading the announcement, I am sure everyone involved in S2KI will strive to keep S2KI as good as it ever has been.
And hello Robb it's nice to have you on board and we look forward to working with you.
Cheers
Ian

S2KI was my first board or forum of any sort. I found it after purchasing my S2000 August 10, 2002.
There have been awesome days on here, and days I wanted to pull my hair out. Many more of the good ones though. To say this board and the folks on it have had an impact on my life would be a gross understatement. From saving me thousands in maintenance/repair costs(and as a result, that money was funneled into tracking ) to meeting and establishing life-long friendships, your site -our haven- has served as a valuable vehicle to spread the religion that is the S2000 and its ownership.
Thank you,
