Am I Missing Something Here?
Seriously, am I telling this story right? Does it matter if it was a SCUFFED wheel or a WRECKED wheel? What difference does it make?

Sorry to hear all your issues, I went through hell with a dealership here in NM on my first S2k. Honda needs to take care of you, buying a car under certified warranty, means just that, they certify themselves that the car is in perfect condition. And when something happens, they pull this shit. What is with some of the people in that thread, some people just don't get it.

I had a similar problem with a Honda dealer regarding a hwy speed rear vibration on a used s2k.
The vibs caused the rear tires to cup on a long trip (first trip after buying the car). I wanted the dealer to help me figure out the vib issue, so I bought new rear tires, balance, and align from the dealer. If the vibes were was a tire issue, the vibs would disappear. When I picked up the car they said, "hey the vibs are way better now". Great, no new axles or CV's! Or so I thought....
First thing I noticed was that they drove about 50 mi in the car. What the heck! Then after getting it on the hwy, the vibes were not way better, but nearly the same.
I then took the car to an independent mechanic and they said the new tires weren't balanced. They re-balanced for $35. I immediately took it up to 90mph... and hey, no vibs! So it appears that the dealers people don't know how to balance tires. As the indep mechanic said "The kid they had do the balance probably doesn't know what they are doing".
You may have had the same problem with badly balanced tires. Not to mention anyone else having tires balanced at this dealer!

I think the dealer tried swapping them also.
