Why did you put it in S2000 talk? Only AZ knows about Earnhardt's.

How many miles are on your S2000?

Yeah, but he states his clutch is bad now Dave. TSB 0054 was 5 years ago. I had mine replaced right off the bat because it was noticeable and it was a problem. It didn't take me six years to have a problem, it was right off the bat and it was when downshifting.

Paul's mentioning his clutch is just bad and buzzing.

If all of a sudden you are having problems and you have more than 60,000 miles, in my mind that's just the clutch unless you recently had the clutch replaced - in which case you should go back to the installers.

Paul, I don't think "good will" has anything to do with the situation at this point, UNLESS you specifically told a dealership to note it in writing on their system and they told you to come back when the clutch was done. My 2 cents.

A clutch is a wearable part. No way you will get that replaced on a 6 year old car for free.

On a good note....Our discount at the dealership will apply should you choose to drive up to Phx for the repair.

Since we are on the subject, I am having a BAD buzz during hard acceleration. It sounds like the normal decel buzz on steroids. It is LOUD and very noticable in the cabin.

Hoping I don't need to have my clutch replaced . I need to get it checked out but no one will look at problems like this on Saturday. There is no way I can make an appointment at a dealership during the week days.

Earnhardt will not diagnose a problem on a Saturday, even if the appointment is made well in advance.
