I don't know what the consensus is for riveted flares on 240Zs, but I'm a fan of them on that particular car. Not those ones displayed though.

I dont mind rivets at all on certain cars. S2000 is not one of those cars.

I was excited for that build until I saw the Rocket Bunny over-fenders. Given that Greddy sells that shit, I should have assumed the final product was going to incorporate that garbage.

I think all the riveted over fenders and flares on modern cars look like shit.

I do like flares like that on the old Z's though. I don't know why they work but they do. That white one posted above looks terrible. It's like they took 1/3rd of a body panel and just riveted it into the side of a car, because that is exactly what they did.

I actually prefer the Z with those flares on it to them without.

Those types of flares are better left for the older generation cars too in my opinion. My own preference of course.

The flares work on cars with fairly flat sides and more boxy lines. They add some life and flow to the outline of the car. Most modern cars look like crap with them.
