The rubber molding around the windshield, has anyone installed that theirself? I had my window changed out today and I wasn't home to see or else I would've stopped him in his tracks and told him to get a new molding. It's literally sliced on the driver side and you can tell it got smashed in some spots on the top. Ruined my whole day!

 

You can not replace the molding without removing the windshield.

Did you have this done through insurance?

Call the people who did it. Tell them it's not satisfactory. If they do not resolve the issue then call your insurance company (if this was a claim) and let them know. They will fight on your behalf to have it resolved.

I think I did Safelite last time. They did an ok job.

Make sure to demand OEM mouldings. But yeah, they should fix it.

I'm having trouble finding the black vinyle that goes around the windshield. It used to be black but now it's blue because I removed it. I wish I never removed it.

Edit: I found it Majestic Honda
