Default Condensation in Headlight

I have an 04 AP2 and I noticed that my driver side has started develop some condensation. I think this may have caused the HID bulb to go out. Has anyone here resealed their headlights? What type of silicone/product did you use to reseal it? Any help would be great. Thanks

There are several DIY guides on the site about resealing.
Specifically after baking them to change the diffuser.
You will get the info you need there to try to reseal them.

If that does not work you may just want to pick up a replacement.
There are usually a lot for sale here and there in the classified part out threads.

I have heard of people putting the "do not eat" packages form shoe boxes in the headlights to keep them dry, but it is not something I would do.

Thanks for the replies. The headlight is still stock and hasn't been modified in anyway, so I think opening it up might be over kill. I'm guessing part of the seal went bad someplace. I'll try and hair dry out the condensation and try that black silicone that 1FastS2k suggested first. Hopefully I won't need a new headlight.

If you're gong to the trouble of pulling the bumper off, dismounting the light....

You should just do it right open it up and completely reseal it. Why go through all of that twice?
