Well guys,
I have 5200 miles left on my S till it is out of lease "paying for going over on miles", warranty is up then, and I am not interested in purchasing.

I need to start saving up some cash to put down and need to start shopping around for a new car.

I am going to try really hard this time to stay under $30k but still get something nice.
Leasing again so looking for something with a fair residual too...

Any ideas or suggestions?

TIA
I went through this dilemna a few months ago but I decided to keep my '01 because I had babied her AND I was way under miles for my lease

Although they are technically out of your range price-wise, you may want to keep an eye on BMW leases since they tend to be very aggressive (and therefore make your payments a lot less than you would think). I could have leased a 330i or 330ci for about the same or less than my S2k...

Well... for financial reasons I decided to hold onto the S until the lease date end "Jul 05" and just pay the .15 a mile if I go over.

Anyway, last week I went to Tempe Mitsubishi and they did not even have a evo on the lot and pulled that crap "well we can get one but you can't test drive it until we run your credit" give me a break! That dealer is a bunch of asses

I will keep the 330ci in mind though, I actually looked at them before I got my S but all the models they had on the lot were loaded up with primo options that pushed the car in the 40k range. I think I read they are doing a redesign in 06 on the 3 series....

They GTO is a nice car too and I would definitely opt for a 05 with the 400hp! Wonder what my insurance agent would say about my premium though...
