My baby got hit yesterday. Thankfully there was not too much damage and no injuries. Some chick in a beat up ghettoed out Mustang jabberin' away on her cell phone drifted into my lane and clipped my rear wheel and bumper at about 20 MPH. I should have known better than to be anywhere near a Mustang driver on a cell phone, live and learn I guess. Shockingly she actually has insurance.
Hopefully it won't be in the shop until after this weekend. I don't want to miss the drive Saturday. There is $1900 in damage, but Keith at Elite told me I can still drive it no problem until it goes in...it's just ugly right now.
Any idea what is considered a comparable rental car to the s2k? I don't think a Sebring will cut it and I doubt anyone rents 350Z roadsters...
I would upload a better pic but I still have dial-up.
oh....that sucks... thank god for insurance... have you tried just rubbing it out? just as a quick fix for this weekend? good luck buddy I hope to see your s this weekend

It's because of stuff like this that I don't want a Silverstone. How in the hell do you not see a bright-ass yellow car?! That sux. Hope it all works out, and make sure they do a perfect match on the paint before you sign off on it.
If you actually want something other than an entry level rental car - you will probably need to hire an attorney. Never heard of any insurance company setting someone up in anything else.
i think s2000 are proned to be hit there. I have 2 hit and runs on the driver side right there, and 1hit and run on the exact oposite side. ??? Go figure.. at lease you got the culprit aka mustang salley.
Yeah, I think I did get lucky. It looked like she was thinking about running but smartened up. The traffic was so heavy there was no way she could take off, otherwise she probably would have.
As far as the color goes, it really doesn't seem to matter. I used to ride a Honda Interceptor almost exactly the same color as the S. I followed this guy all the way from Prescott to Jerome. I was wearing matching bright yellow leathers and it was a bright sunny day. When we got on the main drag in Jerome this jackoff throws it into reverse and slams right into me trying to get a parking spot. How the hell do you not see a bright yellow motorcycle with a bright yellow rider that has been in your rearview for the past 20 minutes with his headlight on?
People suck and that's all I have to say about that!
