Default Doing an AMSOil Order.

I just signed up for their preffered customer program so I get dealer pricing. Let me know if you need oil since I need to order some so I can do an oil change and I will get you a qoute by the end of the day. I am in Tempe so please keep that in mind. It would be easiest if I could bring stuff to the weds meet for people. PM or post in here. Once my customer # works I will try to post some prices.

Which would be better, AMSoil or the new OEM Honda oil? I remember last time I did my oil change Ben mentioned that Honda had just released some new high end oil and that something about it was better than the Royal Purple shit that I had just put in the car. Can anyone who knows that the hell I'm talking about chime in and shed some light for me? I need to do an Oil flush at the Tech-Day and I'd like to get informed.

Almost a year ago Honda discontinued their regular dino oil and switched to a Partial synthetic and a Full synthetic oil. I dont know who makes it for them. I believe that they switched their supplier from Mobil to Valvoline. I havent heard anything lately and do not have any tests to back up any performance gains or protection benefits. I ran it for a few oil changes in the S and run it in the civic and accord.

I switched to Brad penn in the S because a lot of the top tuners recommend it and run it. It is high in zinc and reasonably priced. Its also green...

It is basically common knowledge in the oil world that NO oil is as good as AMSOIL. They brought synthetic oil to the masses forever ago and everyone has been chasing them ever since.

Ok so for the their signature series oil (the one they say you only need to change once a year) it comes to just under $60 shipped for 6 quarts. If I order say 2 cases the price per 6 quarts shipped drops to $54. Their OE oil is cheaper but doesn't last as long. Once I have some ideas as to how much we would need I can do a full price quote.

I think I am going to order oil for my car and the Fit as well here soon. I would ideally like to have people paypal me the money and I can just do one big order for this. I would like to get this ordered by Friday so please post in here what you want and how many. If you want something other than the standard 10w30 please note that so I can qoute you.

I'm interested, I live in the same complex as you. I'd only be interested in the transmission oil as I change that often. $54 is too much for engine oil for a dusty environment. Change every 3500-4500 depending on how car is used and German Castrol or penzoil full syns are good enough for that. No need for 8,000 mile oil.
