Yes. Do not forward email. Your buddy "roy" signed up as "roy". We don't have a member of the club named "roy" as a username. If he wants to join the club and give me a proper username/email I would be happy to send him the info since he signed up on time. I have no idea who "roy" is otherwise. I often get bogus signups like that and have no way to contact them.

The signups have been up for many months now. I put them up that far in advance so people can plan ahead. If you don't know if you can make it, sign up now then tell me later to take you off the list. That is the safe way to insure you will have a spot.

Well I don't think he'll be joining as he doesn't have an S. It's cool to bring other cars right? He's just a good buddy of mine that wanted to hang out.

Yeah I know about forwarding but he was already on the list.

 

Now I don't get this......

The guy doesn't own an S and wants to hang out with the s2000 club.

All of us there own an S....seems to me that the cost of admission is owning an S.

That is kind of like joining a bowling league and bringing your friend who does not bowl.

Am I missing something?

Allright, I'll tell him not to come.

 

We have had other non-S2000 owners come on drives before. They can sign up for membership as a "Honorary Member". They need to follow all the rules of the group just like everyone else. If they are disruptive or dangerous, they will not be asked to come again.

If he plans on getting an S2000 in the future, have him sign up for a membership to join the group.

LOL...he's not Roy. Actually Roy is in the Mazda club and drives a nice 6s. He said he had some work pop up and not coming anyway.

IMO it should say somewhere that the drive is for S-cars only. Maybe clarify this for future drives.

I know we don't want any high-school ricers out making trouble but I doubt any one of us would invite somebody like that.
